Start by rinsing stained gloves with cold water. If possible, use a slight agitation technique like rubbing the insides of the gloves together or using your fingers to break up vomit residue. The cold water helps to rinse away any minor pieces before you begin scrubbing.
Mix a solution of one tablespoon of liquid dishwashing detergent with two cups of cold water. Gently swish the gloves around in mixture and make sure to cover the vomit stain entirely. Let the gloves sit in the solution for about five minutes.
Take an old toothbrush or cleaning brush and lightly scrub the stain. When scrubbing, make sure to apply light pressure and move the bristles in a circular motion. This helps to break up the vomit and get it out of gloves' fabric.
Next, rinse out the detergent mixture with cold water until all of the suds have been removed. Avoid rubbing the area while you rinse because this can cause more damage to the material.
If the stain is still present after the first cleaning attempt, repeat Steps 2-4 as necessary. You may need to repeat the process several times before the stain is completely removed.
Finally, air dry the gloves in a warm area away from direct sunlight. Do not put gloves in a clothes dryer, as this may shrink or discolor the material.
With these easy steps, you can quickly and effectively remove vomit stains from your gloves. Keep in mind that it may take a few attempts to get stains out, so be patient and don't give up!
