What You Need to Get Started
- Distilled white vinegar
- Baking soda
- A small bowl
- Clean cloth
- Sponge
- Mild detergent
Removing Vomit Stains from Garment
- Start by blotting up any remaining vomit from the garment with a clean cloth.
- Mix together 1 teaspoon of mild detergent with 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of baking soda in the small bowl, stirring it until it’s combined.
- Dip a clean cloth or sponge in the mixture and gently apply it to the stain.
- Keep scrubbing stain until you see it start to come off.
- Gently rinse garment with cool water and let it air dry.
Additional Tips
- If the stain still remains after this cleaning method, try using a commercial stain remover.
- Always follow the directions on the packaging.
- If you still can’t get it out, take garment to a professional dry cleaner.
