How to Easily Remove Vomit Stains from Garments

What You Need to Get Started

  • Distilled white vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • A small bowl
  • Clean cloth
  • Sponge
  • Mild detergent

Removing Vomit Stains from Garment

  1. Start by blotting up any remaining vomit from the garment with a clean cloth.
  2. Mix together 1 teaspoon of mild detergent with 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of baking soda in the small bowl, stirring it until it’s combined.
  3. Dip a clean cloth or sponge in the mixture and gently apply it to the stain.
  4. Keep scrubbing stain until you see it start to come off.
  5. Gently rinse garment with cool water and let it air dry.

Additional Tips

  • If the stain still remains after this cleaning method, try using a commercial stain remover.
  • Always follow the directions on the packaging.
  • If you still can’t get it out, take garment to a professional dry cleaner.
