The first thing you have to do is to act fast. As soon as you notice the stain, you should treat it with cold water. This will help keep it from spreading and setting into fabric. Try to soak up as much as you can before it has the chance to set. This works best with newer stains.

If the stain is already set, then you should pre-treat it with a mixture of laundry detergent and cold water. Rub the mixture gently into the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then, presoak garment in cold water for 30 minutes.

Once garment is finished soaking, it’s time to use a washing machine. Set load on the lightest setting and use a mild soap. After it’s done washing, hang the garment to air dry. Make sure the sun doesn’t hit the garment directly, as this can cause fading.

For particularly tough stains, you may need to take additional measures. Try using a stain remover specifically formulated for tough stains, such as vomit. Allow the solution to penetrate fabric by letting it sit for a few minutes before washing again.

Lastly, if all else fails, you can try using white vinegar to get rid of the stain. Mix one part white vinegar with two parts cold water and spray or dab it onto the affected area. Allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes before washing again.

With a few simple steps, you can get rid of those pesky vomit stains on your crop top in no time. Just remember to act quickly, pre-treat the stain with detergent, and follow instructions for extra tough stains.
