Step 1: Blot Excess Stains with Clean Towel

Using a clean towel or cloth, blot the excess vomit stain from the cotton twill. Do not use a scrubbing motion as this may damage the fabric. Be sure to dry stained area completely after blotting.

Step 2: Apply Detergent and Water Mixture

Mix a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Gently rub the solution into the vomit stain using your fingertips. Let the solution sit on stain for several minutes before washing.

Step 3: Launder Garments

Launder the garment according to manufacturer's instructions - usually separate from other clothes. Use the hottest water setting that's safe for the fabric, and add an oxygen bleaching product to wash cycle.

Step 4: Hang to Dry

Hang garment to dry in the sun. Sun exposure helps to naturally bleach away remaining stains.
