As soon as you notice the vomit stain, use a paper towel to blot it with cold water. Make sure you remove as much of the excess moisture as possible.
Apply a small amount of mild detergent onto the fabric and rub it gently onto stain. Let it sit for five minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.
Fill a bowl with cold water and add ½ cup of white vinegar. Soak affected area for thirty minutes and then gently scrub with a soft cloth. Rinse off with cold water.
Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with two tablespoons of water. Rub the mixture on the stain and let it sit for fifteen minutes. Rinse off with cold water.
Mix one part hydrogen peroxide with two parts water. Pour the solution on the stain and let it sit for five minutes. Rinse off with cold water again.
Once the vomit stain has been removed, put the fabric in the dryer on low heat until dry. This will help to set the fabric and prevent the stain from reappearing.
