The first step in removing vomit from chiffon is to act quickly. You want to get as much of the vomit off of the fabric as quickly as possible to prevent further staining. Start by gently lifting off any chunks that you can. Be sure to avoid rubbing stain, as this will cause it to spread and set even deeper into the fabric.

Once you have removed as much vomit as possible, dampen a white cloth or paper towel with warm water and a mild detergent. Then, gently blot the remaining stain, working outward from center. Be sure not to scrub or rub the fabric, as this could lead to more staining. Once you have removed as much of the stain as possible, rinse the area with warm water and blot dry with a clean cloth.

If there is still some discoloration remaining, you may need to use a specific cleaning solution for chiffon. Mix a small amount of chilled liquid detergent with two cups of chilled water and apply it to the stain. Allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it away with cool water. Blot the area to remove excess moisture and hang to air dry.

With a few simple steps you can get vomit stains easily and quickly lifted off of your chiffon fabric. Remember to act fast when dealing with any type of stain, and use right products and techniques to keep your fabric looking its best.
