Step by Step Instructions for Removing Vomit Stains

  1. Start by soaking the stained area in cold water for 30 minutes.
  2. Using a gentle detergent, scrub the area lightly. You can use a soft brush if necessary.
  3. Rinse the area with cold water.
  4. Now, mix 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap, 1 teaspoon of ammonia, and 2 cups of cold water.
  5. Soak the stained area in the solution for 15 minutes. Then, rinse with cold water again.
  6. If the stain is still visible, make a paste using 1 tablespoon of baking soda and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Apply the paste to the area and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  7. Rinse the paste off with cold water and check if the stain is gone. If not, repeat the process.

Additional Tips for Cleaning Up Vomit Stains

  • If you don't have ammonia, you can use white vinegar instead.
  • Be sure to use cold water throughout cleaning process.
  • If the boxers are made of silk or velvet, you should take them to a professional cleaner.
