How to Clean Vomit Stains from Belts
- Mix one tablespoon of vinegar with one cup of warm water.
- Dampen a clean cloth with mixture and dab the affected area.
- Let the mixture stay on area for several minutes before wiping with a clean damp cloth.
- Once the vomit is removed, you can use baking soda to neutralize the odor. Just sprinkle some baking soda on the area and let it sit for 30 minutes before wiping it off.
- If the stain persists, mix one tablespoon of dishwashing detergent with one cup of warm water. Apply the mixture onto the affected area and blot it gently with a clean cloth.
- If the stain is still not removed, you can use hydrogen peroxide. Dampen a clean cloth with hydrogen peroxide and gently scrub the area.
- Once stain is gone, rinse the belt with clean water and dry it with a towel.
