As soon as possible, blot up as much of vomit as you can with paper towels or something similar. This will help limit the amount of liquid that soaks into the apron.
Apply a liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. The detergent should help break down the proteins in vomit stain, making it easier for you to remove.
Rinse stained area with cold water to help remove any remaining detergent and the stain itself. If possible, do this in the sink. If not, use a damp cloth to rinse the fabric.
Mix equal parts white vinegar and water and pour the solution onto the stain. Rub the fabric together to agitate the vinegar solution and help remove stain. Once done, rinse again with cold water.
Finally, put apron in the washing machine and wash it according to the instructions on the garment tag. Make sure to use cold water and a mild laundry detergent. Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting.
