Step 1: Remove Excess Vomit

Using paper towels or a cloth, gently blot as much vomit off your abaya as you can. This will help significantly reduce the amount of stain you have to deal with.

Step 2: Soak Stain

Fill a bucket or basin with warm water and add a generous amount of dish soap. Soak the stained area of your abaya for at least 15 minutes. This will help break up and loosen the stain.

Step 3: Blot the Stain

Once stain has been soaked for at least 15 minutes, use a clean rag or paper towel to blot the area. This will help lift the remaining viscous of the vomit off your abaya.

Step 4: Rinse and Repeat

Rinse off the soapy water using cool water and repeat steps two and three until stain is completely gone. If the stain persists, you may need to use a stronger cleaning solution such as rubbing alcohol.

Step 5: Dry the Abaya

Once the stain has been removed, hang your abaya up to air dry. Do not put it in the dryer as this could cause the stain to set and become permanent.
