When varnish gets on your clothes, it is usually difficult to remove and can be quite the hassle. But with some patience and a bit of know-how, you can get rid of those difficult stains in no time. Here are a few simple steps to get the job done:

  1. If the stain has already dried, use a butter knife or a spoon to gently scrape away as much of the varnish as possible. Make sure to be careful so you don't damage or tear the fabric.
  2. Soak your clothing item in warm water for about 20 minutes to loosen varnish.
  3. Using an old toothbrush or an old cloth, scrub the area with a mixture of dish soap and baking soda. The baking soda helps to absorb any oils that may be stuck in the fabric.
  4. Rinse the stain with cold water and allow it to air dry.
  5. Once item is totally dry, spray area with hairspray. This will help to break down any residue that may be left behind.
  6. Launder the item as usual.

By following these steps, you can easily remove varnish stains from your underwear. With a little bit of effort, you'll have your items looking brand new!
