How to Easily Remove Varnish Stains from Your T-Shirt!
Varnish is a dark and glossy paint used to protect wood surfaces. It looks great on the furniture, but not so great on your clothes! If you've got a varnish stain on your favourite t-shirt, don't worry. You can get it out with some simple household items.

What You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Dishwashing detergent
- Old toothbrush
- Soft cloths
- Bucket (or sink)
Instructions
- Mix one part vinegar and two parts warm water in a bucket or sink.
- Add about a teaspoon of dishwashing detergent. Gently stir the mixture to mix in the detergent.
- Soak your stained t-shirt in the mixture for about 30 minutes.
- Take the t-shirt out of the mixture, and using an old toothbrush, scrub varnish stain gently.
- Rinse the t-shirt with cold water.
- If the stain persists, apply some dishwashing detergent directly onto the stain and scrub with toothbrush. Rinse again.
- If the stain still won't budge, repeat steps 4 and 5 as many times as you need.
- Once stain has been removed, put t-shirt into a washing machine and launder it as normal.
- Once washed, dry t-shirt.
