Varnish can add a nice finish to your tracksuit but if it ever gets stained the stain can feel impossible to remove. Here’s a simple method for removing the stain that won’t take too much time or effort:

  1. Mix lemon juice and salt together in a bowl, forming a paste.
  2. Using a cloth, gently rub the paste onto stained area of the tracksuit.
  3. Leave the paste on the stained area until it dries out.
  4. Wash the tracksuit in warm water using your usual detergent.
  5. Rinse the tracksuit in cold water and hang it up to dry.

If the stain persists, repeat the same steps again. You may need to repeat the same process for several days. You can also use other cleaning agents like baking soda, vinegar or rubbing alcohol to remove the varnish stain, just make sure to test them on a small area of fabric before applying directly to the stained area.

Once you have cleaned stained area, use a protective spray specially designed for tracksuits to give it an added layer of protection. This will help keep fabric looking new and protect it against future staining.
