Step 1: Soak your Thong

The first step to getting rid of a varnish stain is to soak your thong. Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water and add some sort of detergent. Allow your thong to soak for at least 15 minutes. This will help to loosen stain.

Step 2: Machine Wash

After the stain has had a chance to soak, you can put thong in washing machine. Be sure to use gentle detergent and an appropriately low temperature cycle. Check the label on your thong before beginning the cycle.

Step 3: Air Dry

Once the washing machine cycle is done, take the thong out and lay it flat on a towel. Let it air dry completely rather than putting it in the dryer. The heat from dryer can cause the stain to set permanently.

Step 4: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain is still present, repeat steps above. It may take a few attempts to get the stain fully removed. Be patient and keep at it until the stain is gone!

Conclusion

Removing varnish stains from thongs may seem daunting, but it doesn't have to be. With a little patience and the right approach, you can easily restore your thong to its former glory. Good luck!
