Mix one part mild dishwashing soap with one part white vinegar in a bowl. Stir the solution until it is homogeneous.
Dip a soft cloth into the cleaning solution and apply it to the affected areas of sunglasses. If necessary, use a toothbrush to gently scrub off the varnish stains. Once done, rinse the sunglasses with clean water.
Pat the lenses of the sunglasses dry with a microfiber cloth. Be sure to be gentle and avoid rubbing lenses too hard.
If the varnish stains remain after the above steps, use a buffing cloth to gently buff out remaining stains. You should notice a difference in the clarity of the lenses after polishing them with the buffing cloth.
Varnish stains can be tricky to remove, but with the right cleaning solution and some patience, you can easily make your sunglasses look like new again!
