What You Will Need:
- White vinegar
- A bowl or container large enough to submerge the stocking
- A small brush or cloth
- Objects (coins, heavy rocks, etc.)
Instructions:
- Fill the bowl with white vinegar, making sure it's enough to fully submerge the stocking.
- Place stocking in the bowl, and add the objects to ensure it stays submerged.
- Let the stocking soak in the vinegar for approximately 10 minutes.
- Take the stocking out of vinegar, and use a brush or cloth to scrub the stain gently.
- Rinse the stain off with cold water.
- If stain is still visible, repeat process until it’s gone.
Tips for Prevention:
- Always keep your stockings away from any liquids that could contain varnish.
- Store your stockings in a drawer so that they do not come into contact with any elements that can cause staining.
