Step 1: Start by Pre-treating the Stain

Start by pre-treating the stain with detergent. Use a brush or sponge to apply the detergent directly on affected area. Leave it for a few minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Make sure that the detergent is completely washed off.

Step 2: Wash the Robe in the Washing Machine

Once you’ve pre-treated the stain, you can now put the robe in your washing machine. Washing the robe with laundry detergent will help loosen the stain further. Set the machine to a gentle cycle with warm water. Once the cycle is done, transfer the robe into the dryer.

Step 3: Spot Clean with Varnish Remover

The last step is to spot clean the remaining stain with a varnish remover. Use a cotton swab or cloth soaked in the remover and gently dab it onto the affected area. Rinse the stained area with water once you’re done spot cleaning. If the stain is still visible, repeat the process until it is completely gone.

Once the stain is removed, let the robe air dry for several hours before you wear it again.
