What You Need

  • Sponge
  • Clean cloth
  • Spray bottle
  • Cleaning solution (dishwashing liquid)

Step one: Prepare cleaning solution

Fill the spray bottle with the dishwashing liquid mixed with two tablespoons of water. Make sure that the solution is not too strong as it might damage the fabric. Shake the bottle gently to mix the ingredients properly.

Step two: Spray the stain

Hold the bottle at a distance from the stained area and spray the cleaning solution on it. Wait for a few minutes to let solution soak into the fabric.

Step three: Scrub and rinse

Use a sponge and scrub area in circular motions to remove the stain. Once the stain is removed, rinse the area with lukewarm water and use a clean cloth to dry it. Repeat these steps if the stain persists.

Conclusion

Using these simple steps, you can easily remove varnish stains from polyester fabrics. Have any other tips or questions about how to remove varnish stains from polyester? Let us know in the comments!
