Start by using a fine-toothed comb to brush away any loose particles from the stained area. Then, use a white cloth or sponge to blot up as much of the varnish stain as possible.
Next, apply a stain remover specifically designed to target varnish stains. Use a paper towel or clean cloth to dab a generous amount of the solution onto soiled area and let it sit for at least five minutes.
Once the stain remover has had a chance to do its job, launder the garment as usual. You may want to double check care label for the specific washing instructions.
Finally, inspect results once the fabric has been dried. If stain is still present, you may need to repeat steps 1-3 until the stain is removed.
