Using your sponge, dampen the stained area with lukewarm water. This will loosen up the varnish and make it easier to remove.
Once the varnish has been loosened by the water, it's time to apply the detergent. Squirt a few drops of detergent onto the stained area and allow it to sit for a few minutes. This will help break down the varnish and make it easier to remove.
Rinse the fabric under warm running water to help remove any remaining detergent. This will also help remove any dirt or grime that may have built up around the varnish stain.
Vinegar is a great natural cleaning agent and can be very helpful in getting rid of stubborn varnish stains. Pour a small amount of white vinegar onto stain and gently rub it in with sponge. Allow the vinegar to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off.
To ensure the varnish stain is completely gone, let the garment air dry. Then check the garment for any signs of the stain. If any trace of stain remains, repeat steps one through four until the stain is gone.
Removing varnish stains from Lacoste clothing can be a challenge, but with the right supplies and some patience, it’s possible to get them out. It may take a few tries to completely remove the stain, but don’t give up! Your clothing will look as good as new in no time.
