- Rubbing Alcohol: Rubbing alcohol can also be used to remove varnish stains from hair clips. Apply some rubbing alcohol to a cloth or paper towel and rub it into the stained area. Wait for a few minutes and then wipe it away.
- Nail Polish Remover: Nail polish remover can also be used to clean varnish stains. Make sure to use a non-acetone variety. Soak a cloth or paper towel in the nail polish remover and rub it into the stained area. Rinse off with warm water and repeat as needed.
