- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Soft bristle brush
- Dry cloth
- Mild laundry detergent
Steps to Clean Varnish Stains from Flip Flops
- Mix one part white vinegar in with two parts water. Dip a soft bristled brush into the solution and then use it to gently scrub the stained area.
- After scrubbing, sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda over the area.
- Leave the baking soda in place for about an hour and then scrub area again with brush.
- Wipe away the baking soda with a dry cloth and examine the area.
- If necessary, repeat steps 1-3 until stain is completely gone.
- Once the stain is fully removed, wash the area with a mild laundry detergent.
- Allow the area to fully dry before wearing the flip flops.
