How to Get Rid of Varnish Stains on Your Collared Shirt

What You Need
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Water
- Soft cloth
- Iron
Instructions
- Mix white vinegar with an equal amount of water and soak affected area of the shirt.
- Let it sit for 10 minutes or until the varnish starts to dissolve.
- Blot the stain with a soft cloth while it is still damp.
- If there is still some discoloration afterward, make a paste out of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and apply it on stained area.
- Leave the paste to dry for 30 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.
- Use a slightly heated iron to set the stain and let it cool.
- Wash the shirt with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
- For stubborn stains, repeat process until the stain has completely vanished.

- Always read the garment label before attempting any cleaning process.
- Test the cleaning solution on a hidden part of the fabric before using it on the stain.
