3 Ways to Easily Clean Varnish Stains from Belts

Belts are an essential part of our wardrobe, and yet they can easily be stained by varnish. Whether you accidentally spilt paint or your belt got stained with spilled varnish, you don’t have to chuck it away. Follow these 3 steps to remove varnish stains from your belts.

Method 1: Rubbing Alcohol

  • Mix two parts rubbing alcohol with one part water in a bowl.
  • Dab the cloth in the solution and use it to lightly rub the stained area.
  • You should start to see the stain fading away with each gentle rub.

Method 2: Nail Polish Remover

  • Pour some nail polish remover onto a soft cloth.
  • Gently dab stained area and allow the remover to set for a few minutes.
  • Rinse the affected area with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

Method 3: Alcohol-Based Ink Remover

  • Soak a clean cloth in some alcohol-based ink remover.
  • Gently dab the stained area with the damp cloth.
  • Once the stain is gone, rinse area with warm water and pat it dry with a soft cloth.
