Step 1: Gather Supplies

Before you begin the cleaning process, you’ll need right supplies to get it done. Gather the following items:

  • Cotton cloth
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Soft brush

Step 2: Apply Rubbing Alcohol to the Stain

Carefully pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto the affected area and let it sit for a few minutes. This will help loosen varnish stain.

Step 3: Scrub the Stain

Use a soft brush to gently scrub the affected area. Make sure to exert just enough pressure to remove the stain without damaging the belt.

Step 4: Wipe Away the Stain

Once you’ve scrubbed the stain, use a damp cotton cloth to wipe away any remaining residue. Make sure to rinse the cloth often so that you don’t re-apply the stain.

Step 5: Dry the Belt

After you’ve removed stain, let the belt air-dry completely before using or storing it.
