Urine stains can range from mild to quite stubborn, and depending on fabric your Zara clothing features, you’ll need a specific set of instructions for getting rid of stain. For best results, treat the stain as soon as possible.

Removing Urine Stains from Light or Delicate Fabrics

For light or delicate fabrics like silk, satin, or chiffon, the most gentle approach is the key to success. Start by blotting the stained area with a clean cloth or towel, making sure not to rub it, as this will just spread the stain around. Once you have blotted away as much of the moisture as possible, pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide onto the stain. Allow to sit for several minutes before blotting it with a cloth, then rinse with cold water.

Removing Urine Stains from Cotton or Polyester

If your Zara piece is made from cotton or polyester, then the task is a little easier. Begin by blotting stained area with a clean cloth or towel, then prepare a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 4 parts warm water. Apply this mixture to the stain and allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Then, wet a clean cloth with plain water, and press it against the stain to rinse it away. Repeat until the stain is gone. Finally, blot the area with a towel to remove any excess moisture.

Removing Urine Stains from Denim

When it comes to jeans, you’ll have to take a slightly different approach. Mix together equal parts of salt, laundry detergent, and white vinegar, then apply the mixture to the stained area. Rub it in gently and let it sit for 30 minutes, then rinse with cold water. To finish, soak the item in a solution of 1 quart of water, 1/4 cup of baking soda, and 1/4 cup of white vinegar for 15 minutes. After that, simply throw your Zara denim item into washing machine and launder as normal.

Conclusion

Getting rid of urine stains on your Zara clothing doesn’t have to be a hassle. With the right method and materials, your garments will be back to looking good as new in no time!
