- Mix cold water with a small amount dish soap or gentle laundry detergent in a bowl.
- Using a soft-bristled scrub brush, scrub the soapy mixture onto the stained area.
- Rinse the stain with cool water to remove all of soap.
- If the stain has faded, repeat above steps as needed, being sure to rinse each time.
- Once the stain is completely gone, rinse the area with cold water and blot with a towel.
- Let garment air dry before wearing.
Pre-Soak In Distilled White Vinegar
If you're dealing with an especially stubborn urine stain, you can pre-soak the garment in a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 4 parts cold water for an hour before scrubbing. Follow the same steps outlined above to finish cleaning off the stain.
