Gather Cleaning Supplies

Before you get started, make sure you have all of the necessary cleaning supplies. You'll need laundry detergent, an old rag or sponge, an enzyme cleaner, and a bowl of lukewarm water. Make sure you choose a laundry detergent that is specifically formulated to be gentle on delicate fabrics.

Treating the Stain

First, blot the stain with a damp cloth. It's important to dab instead of scrub so you don't spread stain. Once the area is blotted, sprinkle some laundry detergent onto the stain and let it sit for about five minutes. After five minutes, use an old sponge or rag to gently scrub the area in a circular motion. Rinse the area with lukewarm water and then use a clean cloth to blot up any excess moisture. Next, spray the area with an enzyme cleaner and let it sit for another five minutes. Finally, rinse the area and blot with a dry cloth again.

Drying the Area

Once you're finished cleaning, it's important to dry the area completely. You can either use a hairdryer on a low setting or let the area air-dry naturally. Make sure to check the area periodically to ensure it's completely dry before you put your Vans back on.
