Step 1: Blot Stain

It’s important to act fast when you notice a urine stain on your uniform. First, blot the area gently with a clean, white cloth or paper towel to soak up as much of urine as possible. Do not rub or scrub the stain, as this could cause it to spread or set it even deeper into the fabric.

Step 2: Treat the Stain

Once you have blotted away any excess liquid, prepare a cleaning solution. Mix together three parts water and one part white vinegar or lemon juice in a spray bottle. Then, apply it directly to the stain and allow it to sit for approximately 15 minutes. This combination should help to break down the stain and loosen it from the fibers of the fabric.

Step 3: Rinse Away the Stain

The next step is to rinse the cleaning solution away. Use a damp rag and lukewarm water to do this. Do not use hot water, as this could set the stain further.

Step 4: Clean with Detergent

After you rinse, sprinkle a small amount of laundry detergent on the stain. Rub it gently into the fabric, then allow it to sit for another 15 minutes. Next, rinse the detergent away with a damp cloth.

Step 5: Wash the Uniform

Finally, throw your uniform into washing machine and wash it using recommended settings. Once it is done, hang it up to air dry.
