The first step to removing any type of stain is to clean it up quickly. If the stain has already dried, you’ll need to take things up a notch. Start by rinsing the affected area with cold water. Use a cloth or sponge and gently dab away the stain. Repeat this until the majority of the stain has been lifted.
Next, create a cleaning solution by mixing one part white vinegar and four parts warm water. Submerge stained area of UGG into solution, allowing it to soak for 10-15 minutes. If the stain persists, create a more concentrated solution by reducing amount of water in the mixture and submerge again for a second soaks.
Once the UGG is sufficiently soaked, use a soft brush to lightly scrub away the remaining stain. You may wish to repeat this a few times to ensure the stain is fully removed. Don’t be too aggressive when brushing, as this could damage the fibres of UGG.
Finally, rinse the UGG in cold water and leave it out to dry in a shady area. Once the UGG is completely dry, you may want to consider using a leather protector spray to prevent any further staining.
