To begin, lay a white towel over the affected area and press down in order to absorb any additional urine. Gently lift towel to check if the stain has been fully absorbed. Repeat process until the stain has been completely soaked up.
In a bowl or bucket, mix together one part white vinegar with three parts warm water. Make sure the solution is warm enough to cause steam if it comes into contact with the twill.
Once the solution is ready, apply it to the stained area using a sponge or clean cloth. Blot and gently rub the area until the stain begins to fade. If stain persists, move to the next step.
Mix together 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/4 cup of warm water. Apply the paste directly onto the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then, rinse the paste off with lukewarm water.
If the stain still remains, put the twill garment in the washing machine and use a mild detergent to wash it. For best results, use cold water and don't add any other clothing items.
When the cycle is complete, let the garment air dry - do not use the dryer! Hang the twill from a clothesline in the sun. The sun's ultraviolet rays will help disinfect and break down the remaining stains.
With these simple steps, you can easily get rid of urine stains on twill fabric. Be sure to use these methods as soon as stain appears for best results. Good luck!
