Having a urine stain on your tuxedo can be embarrassing, and it may feel like it’s impossible to remove. Don’t worry – following these steps will help you get rid of the stain quickly and easily.
Mix a solution of warm water, detergent, and a few drops of ammonia. Apply solution to the stain and let it sit for about five minutes to soften the stain and make it easier to remove. Blot the area gently with a clean, white cloth to remove excess liquid before proceeding to the next step.
Create a vinegar solution by mixing one cup of white vinegar with two cups of warm water. Soak the area of the stain using a clean cloth or sponge. Allow the solution to stay on stain for 30 minutes before blotting it with a dry cloth.
If the stain has been removed, proceed with washing the garment according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If the stain is still present, repeat pre-treating and soaking steps before laundering.
Hang the garment outside to air dry, using clothespins to ensure it remains in same shape. Don’t put it in the dryer until you are sure the stain has been completely removed.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
