Urine stains on sunglass lenses might not seem like a big deal, but the longer you let them sit, the harder they can be to remove. It's important to try to clean them up as soon as possible to avoid further damage.
First, rinse stained lenses under warm running water. You want to make sure you don't touch the lenses while they are wet to avoid scratching them.
Next, lather some liquid dish soap onto the lenses and rub gently in a circular motion. Be sure to use only a small amount of soap so it does not seep into gaps of the frame. Use a soft cloth and avoid using any harsh cleaning agents that may cause additional damage.
Rinse the lenses again with warm water and use a soft cloth to remove any residue and soap suds. Repeat this process until all of the soap is gone.
Finally, leave the lenses out to air dry completely on a soft cloth. Once they are totally dry, they should look good as new without any remaining marks.
