Instructions:

  1. Promptly blot up as much of the urine as possible with a paper towel.
  2. Mix one part vinegar to three parts cold water and pour it into a spray bottle. Spray the solution onto urine-stained area of spandex.
  3. Sprinkle baking soda on top of the soiled area.
  4. Gently rub the baking soda into the fabric with a small brush.
  5. Allow the solution to sit on the spandex overnight.
  6. In the morning, rinse away the baking soda with cold water until it’s all gone.
  7. Lay out the spandex flat on a towel to air dry.

Tips:

  • If the urine stain persists, repeat the above steps until it is gone.
  • Do not use a washing machine or tumble dryer for this process as it may set the stain permanently.
  • Do not use an iron on spandex.
