Using a damp cloth, gently blot away the excess urine. Do not rub, as this will cause the stain to spread. Blot the entire area until there is no visible moisture remaining.
Mix equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water. Using a clean white cloth, dab the solution onto the stained area. Don't rub or scrub, just dab it onto the spot. Let it sit for 5 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
Mix one part laundry detergent with four parts warm water. Dab mixture onto the stained area and let it sit for 15 minutes before blotting away with a damp cloth. Don't rub, just blot.
Rinse the stained area with warm water. Then, using a clean white cloth, dab the area to remove any excess moisture. Allow the fabric to air dry completely.
If the urine stain is still visible, mix a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts warm water and dab it onto the stained area. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes before blotting away with a damp cloth. Again, don't rub, just blot.
Once the stain has been removed, launder the item as usual. And there you have it - Urine stains are successfully removed from silk tussah!
