Silk taffeta is a delicate fabric, so it's important that you handle it cautiously when cleaning away urine stains. First, use a dry cloth or paper towel to blot the urine stain. This will help reduce the amount of liquid in the fabric and thus prevent it from spreading.
Once the area has been blotted, mix a solution of mild detergent and warm water in a bowl. Dip a soft cloth into mixture and gently dab the stained fabric, being careful not to rub too hard - this could damage the delicate fabric. Then, rinse material with plain water.
If the urine stain is still visible, you may need to use a stronger solution to remove it. Try mixing one part hydrogen peroxide to two parts cool water. Dab the area with the peroxide solution and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Use a soft brush to gently scrub the stained area and rinse with cold water.
For best results, you may need to repeat these steps several times. If the urine stain is still visible after all your efforts, you may need to take the fabric to a professional cleaner for further treatment.
