Step 1: Prepare Your Cleaning Tools

To start off, get two clean towels and a bowl. Fill the bowl with lukewarm water and set it aside for later. Depending on the severity of the stain, you may also want to prepare a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water.

Step 2: Blot Up the Excess Urine

Grab one of towels and use it to blot up any excess urine on the silk satin. Do not rub or scrub fabric in any way, as this can damage the delicate fibers of the silk. Simply press down gently and blot up as much urine as possible.

Step 3: Apply the Vinegar Solution

If the stain is particularly stubborn, you'll want to mix the vinegar and water together in your bowl and apply the solution to the stain. Again, take care not to rub or scrub the fabric. Just apply enough of the solution so that it covers the entire area of the stain.

Step 4: Rinse the Stain

Using the second towel, rinse the vinegar solution off of the silk. You can either use the bowl of lukewarm water or just run the towel under a tap. Either way, make sure to rinse the stained area thoroughly until all traces of the vinegar solution have been removed.

Step 5: Dry the Fabric

Finally, lay the silk satin out flat and allow it to air dry or pat it gently with another clean towel. Once the fabric is completely dry, your silk satin should be free of any pesky urine stains.
