Things You'll Need

  • White cloth
  • Cold water
  • White vinegar
  • Dish soap

Steps to Remove Urine Stains from Silk Gazar

  1. Gently blot the urine stain with a white cloth to absorb as much urine as possible. Do not rub the cloth or apply pressure to the stain.
  2. Fill a sink or bowl with cold water. Add 1-2 teaspoons of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of dish soap to the water.
  3. Submerge the stained area of the fabric into the soapy water and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Check garment after 10 minutes and if the stain is still visible, repeat Steps 1–3.
  5. Once the stain has been removed, rinse the fabric with cold water.
  6. Lay the fabric flat on a towel to dry.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Always use cold water when cleaning silk gazar.
  • Avoid using hot water, as this can cause the fabric to shrink.
  • Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the fabric.
  • Do not rub or scrub the stain, as this may cause further damage to the fabric.
