Use a white cloth to blot up any excess urine from the fabric. Keep blotting until no more liquid is absorbed. Do not rub or scrub at the stain as this can cause damage.
Mix one teaspoon of mild liquid detergent with one cup of cold water. Don’t use a detergent that contains bleach or optical brighteners as it may cause discoloration.
Dampen a clean white cloth with the cleaning solution and apply it to the urine stain. Be sure to move the cloth in one direction only, never rubbing it back and forth.
Rinse the area with cold water. Blot the stain again with a clean white cloth to remove any lingering traces of urine.
Once you’ve completely removed urine stain, allow silk dupioni to air dry.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
