Method 1: Blotting with Water and Vinegar Solution

  • Mix equal parts cold water and white vinegar in a bowl.
  • Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the mixture.
  • Gently blot the stained area.
  • Rinse cloth or sponge in clear, cold water.
  • Repeat the process until stain is gone.

Method 2: Pretreating with a Laundry Detergent

  • Mix a quarter of a teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent with one cup of cold water.
  • Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the solution.
  • Blot the stained area with the cloth or sponge.
  • Rinse the cloth or sponge in cool, clear water.
  • Repeat the process until the stain is gone.

Method 3: Neutralizing with Baking Soda and Peroxide

  • Mix one tablespoon of baking soda and one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide with one cup of cold water.
  • Dip a clean cloth or sponge into solution.
  • Gently blot the stained area.
  • Rinse the cloth or sponge in clear, cool water.
  • Repeat the process until the stain is gone.

Method 4: Treating with Enzyme-Based Cleaner

  • Apply an enzyme-based cleaner directly to the stain.
  • Let the cleaner sit on the stain for up to 15 minutes.
  • Rinse the area with cool, clear water.
  • Repeat the process until stain is gone.
