Instructions
- Blot up as much excess urine as possible using a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Place shorts in a sink filled with cold water and allow them to soak for about 30 minutes.
- Mix ¼ teaspoon of dishwashing liquid with 2 cups of warm water.
- Using a clean cloth or sponge, apply soapy solution to the stained area and gently scrub the stain for about two minutes.
- Rinse the shorts with cold water to remove all the soap residue.
- Place the shorts in the washing machine with your normal detergent.
- Once they are finished washing, hang them to dry and inspect the area. The stain should be gone!
Additional Tips
- If the stain remains after washing, try applying a laundry pretreatment or spot remover to the area before washing again.
- If you are dealing with old urine stains, it's best to soak shorts in a hydrogen peroxide solution before washing.
- For stubborn stains, use a soft brush to work the soap into the fabric.
- Always read the care instructions on label before attempting to clean your shorts.
- Allow the shorts to completely dry before wearing them again.
