Instructions

  1. Blot up as much excess urine as possible using a clean cloth or paper towel.
  2. Place shorts in a sink filled with cold water and allow them to soak for about 30 minutes.
  3. Mix ¼ teaspoon of dishwashing liquid with 2 cups of warm water.
  4. Using a clean cloth or sponge, apply soapy solution to the stained area and gently scrub the stain for about two minutes.
  5. Rinse the shorts with cold water to remove all the soap residue.
  6. Place the shorts in the washing machine with your normal detergent.
  7. Once they are finished washing, hang them to dry and inspect the area. The stain should be gone!

Additional Tips

  • If the stain remains after washing, try applying a laundry pretreatment or spot remover to the area before washing again.
  • If you are dealing with old urine stains, it's best to soak shorts in a hydrogen peroxide solution before washing.
  • For stubborn stains, use a soft brush to work the soap into the fabric.
  • Always read the care instructions on label before attempting to clean your shorts.
  • Allow the shorts to completely dry before wearing them again.
