Prepare Your Scrub

The first step to removing urine stains from scrubs is to check the tag for washing instructions. Be sure to only follow the instructions given by the manufacturer to avoid damaging fabric.

Then, rinse the affected area in cold water for about 30 seconds. Blot it with a paper towel or cloth to draw out excess liquid. Do not rub or press too hard as this will cause the stain to spread or set.

Use a Stain Remover

Next, apply a stain remover specifically designed for urine. Make sure the solution is safe to use on fabric of the scrub. Rinse the spot again with cold water and dry it off using a clean towel.

If a stain remover is not available, you can use hydrogen peroxide. Apply it directly onto stained area and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Rinse the spot thoroughly to remove any residual hydrogen peroxide and blot with a clean towel.

Wash the Scrub

Once you've treated the spot with a stain remover or hydrogen peroxide, you can move on to washing the scrub. Make sure to use warm water and an appropriate detergent. Wash scrub on a gentle cycle and hang it up to dry as soon as the cycle is done.
