How to Easily Remove Urine Stains from Scarves
Urine stains can be difficult to remove, especially when it is on a delicate fabric like a scarf. But with the right method and materials, you can remove those pesky stains and keep your scarves looking good as new.

What You Will Need
- Soap or detergent
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Soft brush (old toothbrush is fine)
- Clean cloth or paper towels
Instructions
- Mix one teaspoon of white vinegar, one teaspoon of soap, and one teaspoon of baking soda in a bowl of three cups of warm water.
- Soak the stained area of the scarf in this solution for an hour.
- Gently rub the stained area with soft brush.
- Rinse the stained area in cold water.
- If some of the stain still remains, mix one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide, and two teaspoons of soap together.
- Gently rub this solution into the stain with the soft brush.
- Rinse the stained area in cold water.
- Dab the area with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb remaining moisture.
- Allow the scarf to dry completely.
Tips
- Always test any cleaning solution you plan to use on a small, inconspicuous area of the scarf to make sure it won’t damage the fabric.
- If you are using a commercial cleaner, be sure to follow instructions on label carefully.
- For stubborn stains, you may need to repeat the steps several times.
