Gently blot stain with a damp cloth, taking care not to spread it further. Paper towels are also effective.
Mix one teaspoon of laundry detergent in one cup of warm water. Swish mixture around to create suds.
To ensure no damage will be done to your sandals, test the solution on a small, inconspicuous area of the shoe first. Check for colorfastness.
Once you have determined the solution is safe to use, apply it to the soiled area with a small, soft brush. Gently scrub the area in a circular motion, then rinse with clean water and pat dry with a towel.
Once the area is clean, use white vinegar as an effective deodorizer. Mix equal parts white vinegar and water, then spray the area with the solution. Allow to air dry.
Though urine stains can be tricky to remove, following these steps should have your sandals looking good as new in no time!
