Remove any excess urine from the pot or pan using a paper towel. Blot up any urine that has not dried yet.
Using a soft cloth, scrub pot or pan with a dish soap solution and warm water. If the urine stain is old and dry, let the pot or pan soak in the solution for a few minutes before scrubbing it.
Thoroughly rinse pan or pot to remove the soap residue and any remaining bacteria.
Mix equal parts white vinegar and baking soda together and apply it to stained area. Let mixture sit on the pot or pan for 10-15 minutes. Scrub gently with a soft bristle brush and warm water.
Rinse pan or pot one more time with cold clean water to ensure all of the vinegar and baking soda are removed.
Dry the pot or pan with a soft cloth and let air dry completely before cooking with it again.
By following these easy steps, you can easily and quickly remove urine stains from pots and pans with relative ease. Although accidents happen, this guide will help keep your cookware looking clean and new for years to come.
