- Mix a solution of one teaspoon of laundry detergent with two cups of cold water.
- Dampen the stained area with fresh cold water using a white wash cloth.
- Apply the soapy solution to stain using a cotton swab and lightly dab the area around stain so that it does not spread.
- Rinse the area with cold water and pat dry with a clean white towel.
- Repeat until the stain is no longer visible.
- Once stain is gone, apply a citrus-based prewash spot remover and blot gently with a clean white cloth.
- Wash the area separately with a color safe detergent in cold water and then air dry. Do not put it in dryer.
