Step 1: Soak the Stain Immediately

The first step is to soak the stain immediately in cold water. Make sure to use cold water as it will help set the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 2: Prepare a Detergent Solution

Next, create a detergent solution by mixing a few drops of liquid detergent with a cup of warm water. Dab the solution onto the stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Step 3: Blot with a Clean Cloth

After the solution has had a chance to penetrate the stain, blot it with a clean cloth. Make sure to use a fresh cloth each time you blot to prevent stain from smearing.

Step 4: Rinse with Water

Rinse the area thoroughly with clean water. This will help to remove any remaining detergent residue.

Step 5: Air Dry

Finally, air dry the fabric. Do not put the fabric in the dryer as this may cause the stain to set. Allow fabric to air dry completely before using again.
