Tools Needed
- White vinegar
- Laundry detergent
- Baking soda
- Water
- Soft cloths
- Towel
Instructions
- Fill a basin or bucket with hot water and add laundry detergent.
- Submerge the affected area of the poncho in the solution for about 30 minutes.
- Rinse the poncho under warm or cold running water.
- Prepare a mixture of one gallon of hot water, ¼ cup of white vinegar, and a tablespoon of baking soda. Stir well.
- Dip a soft cloth into solution and use it to gently rub the stain. Do not scrub too hard or it could damage the material.
- Rinse the area with plain water to remove any residue from the cleaning solution.
- Pat area dry with a towel.
- Air dry the poncho away from direct sunlight.
