What You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Laundry detergent
- Cold water
- Paper towels or clean cloth
Instructions
- Remove any solid residue on the fabric with paper towels or a clean cloth. Don’t rub or scrub stain – be gentle.
- Mix equal parts of cold water and white vinegar in a bowl. Blot the mixture onto affected area until it’s saturated.
- Sprinkle baking soda generously over the stain. Allow it to sit for two to three hours.
- Remove the baking soda. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps two and three.
- Wash the polo shirt according to the instructions on care tag.
- Add a few drops of laundry detergent directly onto stain before placing the shirt in the washing machine.
- Allow the polo shirt to air dry – do not put it in dryer.
