- Dish detergent
- Water
- Borax
- White vinegar
- A cleaning cloth
- A toothbrush or other soft-bristled brush

- Pre-treat the Stain: Before you start working on the stain itself, pre-treat it with a generous amount of dish detergent. Use a clean cloth or sponge to rub the detergent into the stained area of the parka, making sure that it is all equally coated. Allow the detergent to sit on the stain for at least 10 minutes before rinsing with warm, but not hot, water.
